During a recent pool renovation in Carvoeiro, instead of emptying and discarding thousands of litres of treated water, we did things differently. After analysing the available space on the property, we presented the client with an alternative: store the water in tanks during the works and return it to the pool at the end. With the costs and benefits assessed, the decision was made together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the images, the modular tanks installed in a flat area of the property \u2014 all that is needed is a level surface, with good access and reasonable proximity to the pool. The water remained there, covered and protected, throughout the entire renovation period. At the end, it was simply returned to the pool. No draining to waste, no refilling from the mains, no added pressure on the region’s water resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not all properties allow for this approach \u2014 it depends on the available space, access and the volume of the pool. But when it is viable, it makes sense on every level: environmental, technical and financial. And that is how we like to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
